We proud to annouce a new join in our chain of hotels:

Grand View is found on the Caldera Cliff of Megalochori village, in the central part of the Island.
It is only a 5 min drive from most famous black beaches of the island as well as from the red beach,and also a 7 min drive from Fira, the capital. Yet its location is quiet and convenient.
It is a 3min walk from the centre of Megalochori, a charming traditional village with several local wineries and beautiful restaurants!

The hotel has a spacious terrace with a large size swimming pool right in front of this breathtaking scenery! Our guests can lie on their sun beds and enjoy the most magical view all times of day. Our pool bar offers all kinds of drinks and delicious cocktails during sunset hours!

Grand View is one of the few hotels overlooking the volcano from the caldera cliff with almost no tiresome steps nor downhill or uphill paths to reach the rooms as it is found at the level of a quiet car path. There is also private parking right outside the hotel!

We have rooms that can accommodate all needs, from doubles with single beds offering an economic option, to Standard Double rooms with private balconies right in front of the sunset, to Family suites and Honeymoon Jacuzzi Suites!

Every morning we offer a special buffet breakfast with homemade ingredients that our guests can enjoy at our café with spectacular view, by the pool or in the privacy of their balcony!

The Ambassador of Bagladesh with his family stayed in Bluedolphins the weekend of 25^th November.

They visited Oia for the sunset, the Volcano, the Gavalas Winery (www.gavalaswines.gr)and had dinner at Sabores restaurant in Fira.

Dr. Gerassimos Papadopoulos, National Observatory of Athens and Dr. Tom Bleier, Quake Finder, Palo Alto- California ,stayed in Bluedolphins as part of a research project concerning the Santorini Volcano, in November 2012.

We were happy to hear that everything is ok and the bad publicity we had last year was not based on important facts.

Onirama the band in Santorini

On August 18^th,the Onirama music band from Thessaloniki, gave a successful performance at Wet stories Beach Bar in Perivolos beach!

Bluedolphins & www.mysantorinihotels.com were sponsoring the event and additional provided accommodation to the group members in Bluedolphins Firostefani.

Their pleasant stay, was also expressed in their positive multiple comments in trip advisor.

by the Bluedolphins team in June 1012.

We had a wonderful time in Santorini with you guys and the restaurant that
you took us to was fantastic.

Free Running Competition

Continuing the tradition of free running competition begun in 2007, Red Bull Art of Motion makes the journey for a second year to Santorini, in 2012. The competitors will amaze with their skillful and creative blend of free running, Parkour, martial arts and gymnastics, set against the unbelievable scenery of Santorini’ cliffs. The rooftops, terraces, swimming pools and domes of Firostefani (called a “parkour paradise”) will comprise the competition obstacle course, in a completely natural free running environment, with no extra construction required.

22 Athletes, the best in the world will be in Santorini for 4 days, 26-30 September 2012.

They will stay in Bluedolphins and the sister hotels of www.mysantorinihotels.com.
